Maine State Pier

Hi there! This is my first time utilizing the blog feature of this website. As you may know, I have been doing a daily photo blog since 2008 called Portland Daily Photo. This site, Corey Templeton Photography, was started a few years ago in order to present my portfolio of photos in a more professional manner and to allow people to purchase prints and downloads. I plan on occasionally doing blog posts here as well to highlight my most recent uploads.

Today I uploaded a few photographs taken earlier this morning from the Maine State Pier. The State Pier was built in 1924 and is owned by the City of Portland. It's a pretty busy spot in the summer due to being the home of the Casco Bay Lines ferry service and being in the heart of the Old Port. It's a lot quieter in the winter, which allows for some unique photo opportunities.
